Children in Classes 6, 7 & 8 were very lucky to spend a morning looking at some Viking artefacts that had been found on a local building site.
There were many different items from clothing to jewellery, weapons to wool bobbins. The children enjoyed looking at the items, putting forward suggestions as to what they might have been used for. They used this evidence to draw a true picture of the Vikings lives’. Two of our pupils agreed to be dressed up as Viking children!!
