Year 5/6 Fiver Challenge
Yr 5/6 had a fantastic afternoon on Monday 30th June when they invited the whole school and their Parents to take part in the ‘Fiver Challenge’ event.
They had spent the month planning their business ideas and making their high quality products ready to be sold. There were loom bands, cakes, beat the goalie, sponge throwing, handmade jewellery and hairbands, busking, a photo booth and much more!
The event was a huge success! The following day they spent their Maths lesson calculating costs, profit and loss as well as evaluating their businesses. In total they made a huge £388 profit!
We will keep you posted as to what treat we spend the money on before the end of term. Staff and children would like to say a huge thank you to all the Parents (and Grandparents!) for their support; we really appreciate your efforts.
