We have had an exciting start to the term this week. We have begun our new topic entitled 'How is Provence-Alpes-Azur similar and different to South Wonston?' The children looked at the different regions of France on a map and identified the physical and human features. We used google earth and atlases to find out information about where each place was in France.
In maths, the children have been working hard to add and subtract fractions. We have been using pictorial representations and number lines to help us work out the answers.
In English, the children have been looking at the short film 'Ruckus'. This is a short story about two brothers who sneak on board a train to try and steal a precious ruby however, it doesn't work out the way the brothers expected! The children have been creating 'WANTED' posters this week and will eventually write a newspaper about the robbery!
