Fox, Otter and Badger Class (Y2/3) visited Butser Farm this week. What a fantastic time they had.
The children learnt about all sorts of processes people used during the Stone Age period. The instructors were very impressed with the knowledge of Stone Age that the children had already learnt. They were able to have a go at clunching, wattling, carving and cordage. Clunching was very messy but everyone enjoyed using the hammers to make the chalk powder for the mixture just like they would have done all those thousands of years ago.
A big thank you to our parent helpers who joined us for the day.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
