Yesterday a group of children, staff, governors and people for the Hampshire Travel Planning team went of a 'Walking Audit ' of the new path. The aim of the walk was to check out the route and complete a risk assessment before the path is officially opened to everyone. The children made some really good suggestions about things they felt were needed. For example, more signage encouraging people to clean up after their dogs, and a better barrier at the end of the path as it meets the road in Worthy Down.
We are looking forward to the new gate in to the school grounds being open very soon.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
