PTA Summer Rainbow Run and Family BBQ

A huge thank you to everyone who attended the Summer Rainbow Run and Family BBQ on Saturday 22nd June. With over 250 people taking part in the Rainbow Run the school field was awash with colour - in the air, on the ground and all over everyone taking part. 

The lovely warm weather helped make the day a fantastic success with everyone enjoying the bouncy castles, BBQ, Army Assault Course, raffle, cakes and ice-creams and other fun activities.

Mrs Bewick made sure everyone was ready to run by putting them through their paces during a warm up. There was lots of very excited children, many of whom went round the course more than one. One proudly announced that they had been round 7 times.

The PTA would like to thank everyone who helped out before the event, on the day and as part of the clean up squad. Also a very special thank you to Mr Simpson our Site Manager. 

I would like to thank the PTA committee for organizing the event and making it such a success on the day. Thank you also to everyone who supported the event by coming on Saturday.
