The Summer Fayre took place on Saturday. We managed to dodge the showers and had a lovely time as well as raising a great deal of money. We were delighted to be joined by about 30 representatives from Worthy Down Camp who set up and ran the a range of games including the very popular assault course as well as helping to run the BBQ.
Representatives of the Fire Service and the Ambulance Service were on hand to talk to the children as they explored the fire engine and ambulance. It was lovely to receive feedback from the ambulance crew about how knowledgeable the children about first aid and what to do in an emergency.
Mrs Magee put the gym club through their paces as they put on a great gymnastic display for everyone.
Thank you to every one who helped out on the day and to everyone who came along.
We raised over £4000 which is an amazing amount.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
