It has been lovely to have everyone back in school this week and to welcome all the children and families who have joined the school for the first time this week. We also welcomed Miss Bailey and Miss Capon to the staff. Miss Bailey is training to be a teacher and will be working alongside miss Ashton in Badgers class this year. Miss Capon joins our wonderful YR/1 team as a Learning support Assistant.
With the Covid restrictions finally being lifted class bubbles are now a thing of the past, and we very much hope that it stays that way. Although we are maintaining some of the measure we have had in place throughout the Lockdowns such as the one way system around the school site, and the wider use of the school ground for the children to play on during break times.
The children all looked very smart in their new uniforms. Thank you to parents for supporting our uniform policy.
One of the things that we have all missed during lockdowns was hearing the children sing. I was wonderful to hear their voices again in our Year Group Assemblies. The children hadn't forgotten the words to the songs and all joined in enthusiastically.
We are delighted that we are able to reintroduce a wide range of after school clubs again. Clubs will be starting on the 13th September.
We are all very much looking forward to welcoming parents back into school so that the children can share their learning with you first hand. More to come on this soon.
