The Staff of South Wonston Primary School are all looking forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday 7th September. Over the summer holidays we have worked hard to make sure the school is ready. The classrooms look fantastic and although things are going to be a bit different we are excited about having everyone back in school again. It was lovely to finally be able to meet all the new Year R children during their first visit to the school last week. A very warm welcome to everyone who is joining the school this September. As well as a number of children who will be joining the school there are some new staff too:
Mr Taylor and Miss Forsythe have joined our teaching team. Mr Sawyerr is going to be working alongside Miss Jones in Owls class as he trains to become a teacher.
Mrs Tait has joined the YR/1 team as a Learning Support Assistant.
Mrs Howe-Velazques has joined the Office Team.
Please don't hesitate to contact the school office either by phone or email, in the first instance if you have any queries. We understand that there has been a lot of new information to take in just recently, about the reopening of schools and that some of you will still be feeling anxious about your child returning to school.
