Our very first Be Happy Be Healthy Week has begun!

Today marked the start of something really special for us as a school: the first time we have celebrated Be Happy Be Healthy Week.

We were delighted to welcome a very inspiring guest, Elaine, who shared her incredible experiences of competing in multiple Ironman races. The children were fascinated by her determination and positive mindset. Elaine also spoke about her work supporting people through a helpline, helping us reflect on the importance of talking, listening and looking after our mental health as well as our physical health.

Our fantastic Well-Being Buddies also played an important role today. They met with Sarah from myHappymind and asked thoughtful questions about the programme and about how she keeps herself happy and healthy. We were so proud of their confidence and maturity: they represented the school beautifully.

What a brilliant way to launch this new tradition in our school calendar. We’re so excited for the rest of the week as we continue learning how to Be Happy, Be Healthy together
