After School Club Assistant

Salary Details: Grade C, £23,115 to £24,140 (£9,378 to £9,793 pro rata as part time) - term time only
Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 2.45 - 6.15

Role Overview: South Wonston Primary School is seeking a confident and creative individual to assist in our breakfast and after school club. This role is ideal for someone with experience in a school environment or those looking to gain experience while pursuing college or university qualifications. The position involves welcoming children, preparing activities, maintaining and cleaning play equipment, snack preparation, and encouraging inclusive play.
Hours:
- 5 afternoons per week
- 2:45 PM - 6:15 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcoming children at the beginning of each session
- Signing children out at the end of the day
- Preparing and clearing away activities
- Organizing, maintaining, and cleaning play equipment
- Snack preparation
- Encouraging inclusive play and ensuring lots of fun
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in a school environment preferred but not essential
- Enthusiasm for working with children
- Creative and organized
- Ability to work as part of a team

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Learning Support Assistant, with additional responsibilities as a Lunchtime Supervisor. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a significant impact on children’s progress and attainment. You will be working within a reception class, providing support to children in small groups or on a one-to-one basis as directed by class teachers.
Key Responsibilities:
