Design & Technology at South Wonston Primary School

Year 5/6 Textile Project    (Summer 2022)

In our WW2 topic we learnt about rationing and how people had to be inventive with old materials. 

We enjoyed exploring different materials and textures. We practised our sewing skills before making our patchwork squares. After that we joined our four squares together and then stuffed our cushions.  

Some of us decided to add buttons and tassels.
