Job/Person Summary

We are looking to appoint an caring and dedicated person as a Learning Support Assistant for 5 day's a week with a lunchtime supervisor duty.  You must be passionate about making a difference to children’s progress and attainment to join our team. You will be supporting children within a KS2 class, in small groups or individually, as directed by class teachers.


Applicants should:

  • ideally have previous, recent experience of working in a school setting
  • understand the needs of an autistic child or be willing to undertake personal development in this area
  • have a calm disposition with a good sense of humour
  • have a positive approach that supports the schools visions and values
  • have strong interpersonal skills with children and adults
  • be a team player with a professional attitude
  • be able to implement clear boundaries and routines
  • be able to work independently and with initiative
  • have good English, Maths and IT skills
