As a school we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all our pupils. Safeguarding determines the actions that we take to keep all children safe and protect them from harm in all aspects of their school life.
The safeguarding responsibilities of the school mean that where necessary we take actions to:
- prevent harm
- promote wellbeing
- create safe environments
- respond to specific issues and vulnerabilities.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and all members of staff undergo regular safeguarding training.
The Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) is: Ms Jane Bundy - Headteacher
Also trained DLS's are:
Mrs Sarah Rowe - Deputy Headteacher
Mrs Linzi Carter - SENCO
Miss Rebecca Dickson - ELSA.
